Community Giving

Community and philanthropic involvement is an integral part of GravityFree's culture. Since the start of the company, we have been giving through civic leadership, charitable donations, sponsorships, and public education.
Whether we are serving on boards and committees, donating our services, public speaking, volunteering, sponsoring, or providing internships and mentoring students, GravityFree is helping to enrich the community we live and work in.
Education and Volunteering

GravityFree's owner, Scott Heaps and many of his employees have been involved in several industry associations and charity organizations over the years, including representation on several advisory boards for colleges and trade organizations.

GravityFree has also played an active role in educating the business community by conducting educational workshops and seminars and volunteering as presenters and panelists for community events. GravityFree employees have become regular speakers for the Sarasota Chamber's TechFast Breakfast series and the Non-Profit Resource Center's e-newsletter workshop and annual Non-profit Forum. In 2008 we were asked to speak at Planet Philanthropy, an annual conference held for hundreds of non-profits from all over the state. And we have been asked to share our expertise by writing editorials on the topics of Website design and Internet Marketing for various local publications.

Each year GravityFree gives back to the community an average of over $100,000 worth of services in graphic design, consulting, website hosting and website marketing to non-profits.
