Sarasota, Florida - May 21, 2007 - The annual AMS (Advanced Marketing Strategy) conference for the nation’s top florists is being held this week in Sarasota at the Holiday Inn, Lido Beach. The 3-day conference titled “Catching the Wave...Integrating Marketing Communications,” was kicked off on Sunday May 20th as it welcomed more than 40 florists from around the country who congregate in Sarasota once a year for what promises to be an invaluable educational and networking opportunity for the most progressive florists in the country. The AMS conference, now in its fourth year, is led by Art Conforti, of Beneva Flowers and founder of AMS. The group is coming together to discuss and plan the next year’s innovations in the floral industry; to brainstorm and to garner a plethora of ideas about how to further improve business operations. As with every AMS conference, a large focus will be on the major role the Internet plays in the floral business in conjunction with a product called FlowerManager™ - proprietary business software developed by GravityFree. FlowerManager™ has proved within the industry to be a highly successful sales and marketing tool and is used by all of the attending florists.
Among the presenters at the conference, Scott Heaps, Owner of GravityFree will speak to the group about the evolution of FlowerManager™; he will discuss the next version and the role it will continue to play in the floral industry.
